Mah Sing inks tenancy pact for Southgate

Property developer, Mah Sing Group Bhd, today signed a tenancy agreement with 20 tenants for its Southgate Commercial Centre at Jalan Sungai Besi here.

Slated to open by June, Southgate, Mah Sing’s first venture into a commercial centre, comprises three retail office blocks (Vox, Vivo and Vertex), Corporate Block and Apex Tower, with total lettable area of about 600,000 sq ft.

“Southgate was designed and developed not only to meet investors and companies needs to own offices and retail space in Kuala Lumpur, but also for businesses to thrive,” said chief operating officer Andy Chua to reporters at the signing today.

Confirmed tenants for the retail podium include food and beverage outlets, fashion, jewellery and accessories, personal care, beauty and fitness, services and specialty store.

“We are pleased with the first batch of tenants who have signed up with Southgate as we have invested significantly in the covered atrium and other areas to benefit our retailers and patrons to Southgate,” he added.
