SP Setia unit to purchase land

SP SETIA Bhd’s unit Setia Indah Sdn Bhd is buying 104ha of land in Johor Baru, located adjacent to its established Setia Indah Johor township, from Kelana Ventures Sdn Bhd for RM169.3 million.

The company told Bursa Malaysia yesterday that it plans to build commercial and residential properties worth RM1.5 billion and the eight-year project is expected to start by the end of 2011.
