Affin-I Goodyear inks deal to buy land

AFFIN-I Goodyear Sdn Bhd (AIGyr) has signed a sale and purchase agreement with Affin Islamic Bank Bhd for the acquisition of 3.52 hectares in Bukit Gambir, Penang for RM15.010 million.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, AIGyr said the acquisition would be financed via internally-generated funds and bank financing.

AIGyr is a joint venture company between Jurus Positif Sdn Bhd and Affin Islamic Bank Bhd.

Jurus Positif is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mutiara Goodyear Development Bhd.
