Hektar REIT Q3 revenue up 22pc

HEKTAR Real Estate Investment Trust’s (Hektar REIT) revenue for the third quarter ended September 30 2008 rose by 20.9 per cent to RM22.2 million from RM18.33 million in the same quarter last year.
In a statement in Kuala Lumpur yesterday, fund manager Hektar Asset Management Sdn Bhd said net income rose by 7.6 per cent to RM9.6 million.
Its chief financial officer Zalila Mohd Toon said the company continued to record positive rental reversions and solid occupancy rates across its portfolio of shopping centres in Subang Jaya, Malacca and Muar.
