WCT clinches RM456m deals

KUALA LUMPUR: WCT Engineering Bhd has secured two contracts from Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd for the construction of two government buildings at Putrajaya.
It announced last Friday that the contracts involved the design, construction and completion of government office buildings consisting of two office towers.
The first contract was valued at RM195 million and the second RM261.76 million.
WCT Engineering said the construction period was 28 months, to be completed by January 2010.
Under the build-only contract, the company would received progress payments from the employer as the work progresses.
