Glomac Q1 net profit triples

GLOMAC Bhd, a property developer, said its first quarter net profit almost tripled due to better contribution from its Suria Stonor project and other new launches. It expects a satisfactory performance for the year to April 30 2008, Glomac said in a statement to Bursa Malaysia yesterday. It made a net profit of RM11 million for the quarter to July 31. Revenue jumped 56 per cent to RM82.5 million.
