Sunway City in India venture

SUNWAY City Bhd will build some RM1.5 billion worth of high-rise homes in India under an equal partnership with a local partner there. The “Sunway Opus Grand Residency” apartments by Sunway, and Opus Developers & Builders Pte Ltd will sit on freehold land in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. Sunway told Bursa Malaysia the houses are targeted at information technology professionals working there. Construction is due to start in mid-2008.
