MRCB sells building to CIMB-Mapletree

CONSTRUCTION and property company Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB) is selling a 601,259 sq ft building to CIMB-Mapletree Management Sdn Bhd’s private real estate fund.

MRCB and CIMB-Mapletree Real Estate Fund 1 are to sign a sale and purchase and a design and build agreement on Friday for the purchase of Lot A and an office tower with a net floor area of 601,259 sq ft to be built in Kuala Lumpur Sentral.

MRCB group managing director Shahril Ridza Ridzuan and CIMB Group group chief executive Datuk Nazir Razak are expected to sign the deals witnessed by Second Finance Minister Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop.
