PETALING JAYA: Andaman Property Services Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Andaman Group Sdn Bhd, expects to generate RM128mil sales from the third phase of The Cova development – Cova Suites – in Kota Damansara, Selangor.

Chief executive officer B.H. Tan said more than 100 of the 386-unit condominium project were sold within two months of the soft launch in February.

The 10.86-acre leasehold project comprises three blocks, housing 20, 22 and 23 floors.

The units, ranging from 1,059 to 2,850 sq ft, are priced from RM259,800. The duplex penthouses, which have a built-up area of 2,850 sq ft, are priced from RM698,800.

“We have received very good response so far. We are targeting to sell all units by end-June,” Tan said.

Cova Suites, to be launched tomorrow, was expected to attract buyers from Petaling Jaya and Kepong, including young families, retirees and property investors, Tan said.

“We are confident of receiving good response due to the strategic location and the benefits that we offer to buyers,” he said.

Each unit came with three free parking bays and three complementary air-conditioners, he said, adding that buyers would also get three years’ free maintenance and a three-year defects liability period.

Other features are a sky garden, gymnasium, proximity card system, swimming pool, 24-hour security, multipurpose hall, cafe, Astro connection, intercom system, broadband Internet access and WiFi hotspot.

Situated opposite the Sri KDU Smart School and SEGI College, it has easy access to highways like the Penchala Link, LDP (Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong), New Klang Valley Expressway, North South Expressway, Sprint Highway and New Guthrie Corridor Expressway.

“The entire project is scheduled for completion in 2010. In fact, we are about three months ahead of schedule,” Tan noted.

Andaman last June launched the first and second phases of The Cova development – Cova Villa apartments and Cova Square commercial project.

“We achieved over RM170mil sales from the two phases within six months of their launch,” Tan said, adding that 98% of the units had been sold to-date.

The company was expected to launch a new commercial development project – Cova Corporate City – worth RM350mil in Kota Damansara in July.
