KUALA LUMPUR: Kumpulan Hartanah Selangor Bhd (KHSB) plans to launch two property projects with a gross development value (GDV) of RM170.1mil in Pulau Indah, Port Klang, and Templer’s Park, Rawang, this year.

Executive chairman Datuk Abdul Karim Munisar said the Templer’s Park project would comprise nine bungalows and 56 semi-detached houses.

The project, with GDV of RM20.1mil, was expected to be launched in June, he said.

As for Pulau Indah, Abdul Karim said it would involve the development of the second phase of the Selangor Halal Hub project, comprising mainly industrial and commercial units with GDV of RM150mil.

“The first phase worth RM507mil attracted several local and foreign companies and will be operating soon,” he said after handing over the keys to house owners for the company’s high-end freehold Astaka Heights project in Cheras.

KHSB currently has a landbank of 10,000 acres in the Klang Valley, 333 acres in Johor Baru and 50 acres in Langkawi, Abdul Karim said.

On venturing overseas, he said: “We have plans but for a later stage. Now our focus is on the Klang Valley.”
