Putrajaya Perdana wins RM186m contract

PETALING JAYA: Putrajaya Perdana Bhd (PPB), through a consortium, has won a contract worth RM186mil for the design and construction of campus facitilies at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka.

The consortium is an unincorporated joint venture comprising Kumpulan Melaka Bhd (30%), Putra Perdana Construction Sdn Bhd (40%), a wholly-owned PPB subsidiary, and Cobrain Holdings Sdn Bhd (30%). Putrajaya Perdana is the consortium’s lead contractor.

The contract expected to be completed by May 1, 2009 and would contribute positively to group earnings and net assets for the financial years ending March 31, 2008 and March 31, 2009, the company told Bursa Malaysia.
